Fleet Health & Analytics
See whether your fleet is getting healthier or sicker.
The metrics that tell you if your maintenance operation is working.
Alerts tell you what needs attention today. Fleet health tells you whether your operation is improving over time — or falling behind. For most fleets, the answer lives in spreadsheets, manual reports, or gut feel. The data to answer the question is there, but nobody has time to assemble it — and by the time someone does, it's already out of date.
FleetHD's Fleet Health & Analytics gives your maintenance leadership a single, continuously updated view of performance across every shop, location, and asset type. Because FleetHD already ingests the fault, sensor, inspection, and alert data that drives these metrics, there's nothing new to set up — the analytics layer is built on the intelligence engine you're already running. You see trends, not snapshots.
Key Performance Indicators
Fleet Health Score
Composite health by truck, shop, and fleet
MTBF / MTTR
Time between failures, time to repair
Fix-Right-First-Time
Repairs that stick on the first visit
Persistent Alert Rate
Recurring issues across the fleet
How Fleet Health & Analytics Works
Fleet Health Scoring
A composite health score for every truck, every shop, and your fleet as a whole — broken into Mechanical Health, Tire Health, and Telematic Health. Each score rolls up from the underlying fault, sensor, and inspection data FleetHD is already processing. You see the headline number at a glance and drill into what's driving it. Health scores update continuously, not at the end of the month.
Maintenance Performance KPIs
Mean time between failures. Mean time to repair. Fix-right-first-time percentage. Persistent alert rates. Mean miles between faults. These are the operational metrics that tell you whether your maintenance program is actually working — and FleetHD calculates them continuously from the data already flowing through the platform. Filter by location, asset type, make, model, vehicle age, or time period to isolate what's driving the numbers.
Win Report
FleetHD automatically tracks whether alerts get resolved after a truck visits a repair location. When a critical alert fires, the system monitors the vehicle through geofence detection at your shops — and checks whether the alert recurs after the truck returns to service. Resolved alerts are counted as wins. Recurring alerts are flagged for follow-up. No manual data entry required — the platform watches for the outcome and records it.
Location & Regional Comparison
Break down every metric by shop, terminal, region, or any organizational grouping your fleet uses. Compare locations side by side — which shops are improving, which are falling behind, and what's different about the top performers. Regional and VP-level leadership get the view they need to manage by exception and have data-backed conversations about where to focus.
Your analytics, built around your operation.
Every fleet measures success differently. FleetHD's analytics layer is configurable at every level:
- Define what "healthy" means for your fleet — weight tire health higher for a long-haul operation, or prioritize persistent alert rates for a regional fleet with shorter cycles
- Set the organizational groupings that match your structure — by terminal, by region, by fleet type, or by any combination — so your numbers roll up the way your leadership team actually manages
- Configure which alert types feed into Win Report tracking — you decide what counts as a "win" and what resolution threshold defines success for your operation
- Slice every metric by asset type, make, model, vehicle age, or alert category — so you're not averaging a 2024 Peterbilt and a 2016 Freightliner into the same number
The analytics adapt to how your organization measures performance; you don't change your operation to fit the software.
